Halloween & Party Expo returns to New Orleans in one week
The Halloween & Party Expo is one week away and is continuing its tradition of offering buyers an unmatched look at what’s new and next for the industry. Taking place January 17-19 in New Orleans, this is North America’s only event that brings all things Halloween, Party, Celebration and Haunt together under one roof. Leading up to a 2020 season where the holiday falls on a Saturday and participation in Halloween is expected to be at an all-time high in recent years, the Halloween & Party Expo, co-located with HAuNTcon, will combine unparalleled sourcing opportunities with can’t miss experiences, networking and events all taking place a city known for celebration – helping forge new connections within the industry.
Easier ways to shop and find new products
The exhibit hall will feature more than 300+ companies across the categories of costumes, accessories, props, makeup, business services, party supplies, novelties, toys, seasonal merchandise, gifts and more. In addition, buyers will have access to HAuNTcon: The Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow & Convention – and more than 75 companies featuring unique products.
New for 2020 the show is a SMART Event all focused on new product launches – making it even easier to discover new products and do business. Buyers will receive SMART Badges, allowing them to easily collect information at exhibitor booths that will be sent to them at the end of each day to simplify their buying.
Continuing on the theme of driving connections, the show will again be hosting a Buyers Club Program, designed to bring enhance ROI and driving more than 3,600 meetings on the show floor. For the second year, buyers and exhibitors have also had the opportunity to join the exclusive MATCH! one-to-one guaranteed meeting program, bringing together buyers with companies who specifically match their sourcing needs.

The Big Easy means big opportunities for celebration
To highlight the show’s final year in New Orleans before it relocates to Dallas for 2021, a number of anticipated special events, will also take place during the show:
Friday, January 17 – 12:30pm-4:30pm
The Artist Battleground will once again take place on the opening day of the event. This one-day make-up competition brings one of the most asked for products to life on stage! Participating make-up companies include Kryolan Professional Make-up, Moon Creations, Mehron Makeup, and Graffiti FX, and their artists will face off live on stage to transform their model in the theme of “space.” New for 2020, buyers will have the opportunity to crown the Artist Battleground Master with the Best Brushstroke award.

The Friday Night Fashion Show & Product Preview is back and better for its third year. After the show floor closes on Friday night, the spotlight is on as 50 exhibitors from both Halloween & Party Expo & HAuNTcon showcase their new looks to the backdrop of entertainment, appetizers, and $3,000 in merchandise credit giveaways.

Extended Shopping hours were in demand from exhibitors and attendees, and this time will allow uninterrupted time to for buyers to extend your sourcing and discover the next best seller for their store. A great opportunity to find new exhibitors and a few extra hours of shopping.
Saturday, January 18, 8:00pm-11:00pm
The industry’s largest and best party takes place for the last time in New Orleans. A time for connecting with connect old and new industry friends, in a can’t miss venue – Generations Hall. Enjoy drinks, dancing and appetizers.
