Rubie’s Halloween Seminar

Rubie’s Costume Co. celebrated its 32nd Annual Halloween Seminar Jan. 10-13 at the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. Known as the “other” Las Vegas with more big beautiful sky, this exclusive event showcased new products and accessories for 2014 from each of their divisions: Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique, Imagine by Rubie’s, Forum Novelties, Charades, Morbid, Secret Wishes, Delicious of New York, Highest Heel and the newly acquired Princess Paradise.

As the largest private show in the industry, this 3-1/2 day event was attended by hundreds of Rubie’s VIP customers. The select attendees were given a preview of the upcoming season’s hottest licenses, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman Arkham City, Star Wars Rebels and Ever After High, a companion line to the popular Monster High Collection.

In addition, Rubie’s announced its recent licensing agreement with Marvel that will include all classic Marvel properties and new Marvel Films, including: “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Rubie’s also will produce costumes for all Marvel Classic characters including but not limited to Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Thor, Black Widow and more.

In true Rubie’s tradition, they presented runway fashion shows featuring models of all ages, including a few furry friends along with high-energy dance numbers. This unique platform allowed the customers to see the costumes from all angels for optimum exposure.

“In preparation for 2014, Rubie’s invested heavily in new concepts and new licenses to ensure its customers have the biggest selection of products for this upcoming Friday Halloween.” said Howard Beige, Rubie’s executive vice president. “It’s important to keep things on-trend in order to maintain the excitement and anticipation of a new holiday season.”
